Jared Kohn Bio
He’d been working as an architectural designer for 10 years and while grateful and blessed in many ways he yearned instead to focus on design that held more meaning to him and; his love for the outdoors.
The combination of those two passions – design and the outdoors – resulted in an Instagram project that to date has a following of almost 50K.
On the back of this, Jared and his family (wife and two young kids) took a leap of faith, leaving behind the city and their ‘regular’ jobs (and comfort zone) for life in a small town along the nature-abundant Garden Route of South Africa. The goal: To live simply, purposefully and passionately. To slow down and make time for the things that really matter in life.
